Cookie Notice
Status: 2026-05-03
This page transparently documents whether and which cookies or comparable storage technologies this website uses. The applicable provisions are § 25 TDDDG (German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act) and Article 6 GDPR.
1. Data Controller
The party responsible for this website and the storage operations described here within the meaning of the GDPR is:
Rafael Stefanik
Georg-Benjamin-Strasse 29
13125 Berlin
Germany
Email: info@pradox.de
This website is a private website without a commercial background. A data protection officer has not been appointed, as the requirements under § 38 BDSG are not met.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies and comparable technologies are small data records that are stored in your device's browser storage or read from it. This includes classic HTTP cookies, local storage (localStorage, sessionStorage), and similar mechanisms.
3. Current use on pradox.de
This website currently sets no cookies and currently does not access information stored on your device within the meaning of § 25(1) TDDDG.
In particular, the following are not currently used:
- no analytics or statistics cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Matomo, Plausible)
- no marketing or tracking cookies
- no cookies or scripts from third parties (e.g. Google, Facebook, LinkedIn, X)
- no external fonts (e.g. Google Fonts) and no embedded content (e.g. YouTube, Vimeo, Maps)
- no embedded news widgets, RSS widgets, or iframe integrations — the news section is aggregated entirely server-side and delivered as static content
- no embedded GitHub widgets, no external status badges (e.g. from shields.io or github.com) and no GitHub scripts — repository overviews are also aggregated server-side and delivered with locally hosted logos/symbols
4. Technically Necessary Local Storage of the Cookie Selection
As soon as a cookie notice is displayed on this website, the selection you make there (e.g. "Accept all", "Necessary only", individual categories) is stored locally in your browser storage (localStorage) so that the notice does not appear again on a subsequent visit.
| Property | Value |
|---|---|
| Storage mechanism | Your browser's localStorage |
| Storage location | Exclusively on your device |
| Transfer to third parties | No |
| Storage period | Until you delete it (clear browser storage) |
| Legal basis | § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary for the user-requested storage of the selection) |
| Consent required | No |
5. Links to External Services (LinkedIn, X.com, Instagram, TikTok and Others)
This website may contain simple links (clickable hyperlinks) to external platforms such as LinkedIn, X.com (Twitter), Instagram and TikTok, as well as other social networks. These are explicitly not embedded plugins, "Like" buttons, or scripts of the respective providers:
- When pradox.de is loaded, no connection to LinkedIn, X, Instagram, TikTok, or any other social network is established.
- No cookies of these providers are set, and no IP addresses or other data are transmitted to them as long as you do not click the links.
- Only when you click such a link do you leave pradox.de and are forwarded to the respective platform. From that moment on, only the privacy policies of the respective providers apply; pradox.de has no influence over them.
When the linked platforms are accessed, the respective providers regularly process personal data (at minimum your IP address, browser and device information, and possibly cookie IDs). If you are logged in to any of these services, the provider may link the visit to your account there. Especially with providers headquartered or with parent groups in the USA (e.g. Meta for Instagram, X Corp.; partial data flows for TikTok via the People's Republic of China or Singapore as well as EU branches), transfers to third countries may occur.
The privacy policies of the providers concerned can be found at:
- LinkedIn (LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company): https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy
- X / Twitter (X Corp.): https://x.com/de/privacy
- Instagram (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited): https://privacycenter.instagram.com/policy
- TikTok (TikTok Technology Limited, Ireland; group: ByteDance): https://www.tiktok.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea
6. Future Optional Cookies and Analytics Tools
This website is technically prepared to optionally use cookies for reach measurement or comparable purposes at a later time. Should this be activated, the following will apply:
- Such cookies will be set only after your express consent pursuant to § 25(1) TDDDG and Article 6(1)(a) GDPR.
- Consent will be obtained via a cookie notice in which "Accept" and "Reject" are offered on equal terms and individual categories (e.g. statistics, marketing) can be selected.
- Before activating any consent-requiring storage, you will be clearly and comprehensively informed about which data is processed for which purpose, to which recipients it may be transferred, and how long it is stored.
- Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future by reopening the cookie settings or clearing your local browser storage.
Until such activation, no cookies requiring consent are set and no analytics tools are loaded.
7. Note on Future YouTube Embeds
If YouTube videos are embedded on this website at a later date, embedding a YouTube iframe already establishes a connection to Google servers when the page loads, transmitting your IP address. Such embedding therefore requires consent pursuant to § 25(1) TDDDG. Before activation:
- a cookie notice with explicit consent option will be integrated,
- preferably a "click-to-load" solution will be implemented, where a connection to YouTube is established only after your active click on the video,
- the Privacy Policy will be supplemented with provider (Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC), third-country transfer (USA, EU-US Data Privacy Framework), processing purposes and retention period.
As long as no YouTube embeds are activated, no data is transmitted to Google whatsoever. Mere linking to a YouTube channel or an individual YouTube video (without embedding) is treated as described in section 5.
8. How can I change or reset my selection?
- Change cookie selection: Once a cookie notice is displayed on the page, you can reopen your selection at any time via the corresponding button ("Cookie settings" or similar).
- Delete cookie selection: Through your browser settings, you can delete all local storage content (cookies and
localStorage) forpradox.deat any time.
9. Your Rights
With regard to the processing operations described above, you have the rights under Articles 15 to 21 GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection). You may withdraw a given consent at any time with effect for the future pursuant to Article 7(3) GDPR. You also have the right under Article 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular with the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (https://www.datenschutz-berlin.de/), which is competent for Berlin. Further information can be found in the Privacy Policy.
